I have used this mustard for years and now I am unable to purchase locally, so now I purchase it online. The product arrived promptly, was packaged well, and was fresh. If you like a gourmet mustard then I would highly recommend this.

Meaux Mustard: Also called whole-grain mustard. is roughly crushed, multi-colored mustard seeds mixed with vinegar and spices. It is a simple yet closely guarded recipe transmitted to the Pommery family in 1760 by the ancient religious order of Meaux. It has been served at French tables for more than 370 years. It is the mustard of kings. A delicious grainy mustard is packed into stone crocks and corked (this crock has a plastic cork for easier opening and resealing). Thick and slightly "nutty" in flavor, this mustard is perferred by fine chefs worldwide. The famous 18th century gastronome Brillat-Savarin said "If it isn't Meaux, it isn't mustard."
