I really appreciated the packaging of this oil because the edge of the bottle opening is slightly curved in such a way that there's no drip (for me at least) after pouring oil out of the bottle, which has been a constant problem for me with other brands of olive oil I've bought from the supermarket because I don't transfer the oil to another container (like you see on cooking shows) - I keep things simple and just pour it out of the original container. Now I don't have to worry about oily surfaces and sticky bottle sides. It's just a little thing, but it makes things so much more worth it in considering whether I want to go for this brand or another.

Taste was good as any olive oil I've had. Upon opening the bottle, I had a bit by itself and I was extremely happy with the quality. Better than what's in the grocery aisles. It's not that much more expensive than bigger brands, so I'd definitely recommend trying this brand out at least once. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

lovely aroma and fruity flavor with the tiniest hint of a peppery finish is making me think that the best olives are grown in spain rather than italy.

ever since the scandal broke in the New Yorker magazine (august 13, 2007 - Slippery Business by Tom Mueller. google it.) about the fraudulent practices of italian olive oil merchants i have been looking for ways to identify good sources of untainted olive oil. recent reviews in Cooks Illustrated confirm that the truest and most consistent flavors found in the EVOO market today are coming from spain. at a price.

this Zoe Arbequina varietal brings both flavor and value back to us, the amazon consumers. priced to compete with the italian junk in the grocery store, this line of oils meets my unfairly high standards. (i hate to be a snob, but a bad oil can ruin a meal.)

I've tried many oils, and this is the first one that actually floored me with it's delicious taste. The flavor is perfectly balanced--not too heavy, not too light. Superb for cooking, salads, garlic and fresh herb dipping oils. Carries flavors wonderfully without losing it's own deliciousness! What is a great price for such a quality EVOO. I can't imagine using anything else now and will certainly buy again. My only minor complaint is the plastic bottle, but I transferred it to a dark glass bottle upon opening.

I'm addicted to this light tasty olive oil, for cooking, to substitute for butter/margarine, and to make my hair silky - yep, it's the best leave-in conditioner I've ever used, doesn't get rank and smelly, doesn't stain my bedding (obviously, I don't use a lot, just enough to hold moisture in my usually-frizzy curls). As a Subscription especially, it's an awesome deal, cheaper than olive oils in my local supermarket, and in a plastic rather than heavy glass container. The plastic's very fine, doesn't hold the scent, recycles, ultra-light.

I have purchased the Zoe evoo in cans (regular and organic) many times in the past and been very satisfied. I like this Zoe 100% arbequina evoo even better, as far as taste goes. It is very flavorful, somewhat grassy with no bitter taste, and has a smooth, silky texture. It is more of a rich yellow color than green. It is a great all purpose oil that holds up to sauteeing, drizzling over cooked pasta, for use in salad dressings and for bread dipping. It is also pretty economical to use for all kitchen uses, especially when purchased on subscription basis. This comes in a clear bottle, not my preference for storage of olive oils, so I have wrapped the bottles with foil to minimize light exposure and slow degradation. Oils can also be stored in the refrigerator or freezer to maintain quality.

This one is a bit different in taste from the Greek and Italian but is very rich and full of flavor. Great for savory dishes

I love arbequina olive oils for their delicacy and ability to marry with other flavors. This Zoe oil has a more pronounced woody flavor than some others I've had but is completely delicious with that light, piney, green appley fruit I always love in arbequina oils. I'm thinking of pouring it into a glass bottle. Not sure if the thin plastic it comes in is the best thing to be rubbing up against my oil. Great for fish and bright dishes. Carries the flavor of garlic like a dream.

This is a good product, and has a bit of spice. It's not an over the top fabulous like some of the reviews stated, but it's good. I don't see spending nearly $20 a liter at regular price. But at the sale price of 2 liters for under $20 it's a bargain. I am so glad it's back in stock and on sale

Outstanding value. This oil is very herby. I mean, I know it's just olives in there, but it almost tastes as if herbs are delicately waved past your nose as you taste it. Very interesting tasty stuff. I'll probably stick to this for a while.

Yep, OK for sautee but would not choose it for making dressings or drizzling for additional flavor. Decent price for decent oil - no more; no less.

Okay for sautee' veggies, seafood and soups. Not very strong for sauces and drizzles over grilled meat. I prefer the organic Zoe in a can-- for sure a much heartier olive oil.

We are big fans of Olive Oil from Spain, and we like Zoe products so much that we ordered a dozen bottles of Zoe 100% EV Arbequina, but i will change my subscription after this experience. The twelve plastic liter bottles were shipped loose in one of Amazon's light-duty boxes with two of those small plastic air-bags. The box was not meant to have so much weight rattling around loose and the UPS guy asked me to open it to make sure that there was no problem with the merchandise. the bottles were beat up and squashed, but thankfully none had been crushed open. I know that the manufacturer does not send them to Amazon warehouse like that. Don't the warehouse packers go to handling class ? ? ? ? :-(
